Intravenous Vitamin C Therapy

Many of us have taken oral vitamin C for years or even when we get colds. The bowel tolerance of oral vitamin C is somewhere around 20,000 milligrams depending on a person’s current health status. Dr. Frederick Klenner, MD pioneered the use of intravenous (IV) vitamin C starting back in the 1940’s. Dr. Klenner used IV to treat a wide variety of infectious diseases including polio. His work lead to IV vitamin C being used as widely as it is today. It was even used to treat colds, flues and a variety of infections and still is today.

IV vitamin C today is now being used against cancer. There are even a few studies taking place in cancer patients at major universities here in the US. Recent work at the National Institute of Health has demonstrated that IV vitamin C can help create an uninhabitable environment for cancer. Intravenous vitamin C is now being employed by many integrative physicians as a supportive cancer treatment.

For the most recent research on intravenous vitamin C go to www.pubmed.gov, type in the search area “intravenous vitamin C” include quotations around the text.
